Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology

Allergy is your body’s overreaction to harmless things such as pollen, dust, pets, or foods. It is our mission to help those who suffer from allergies to feel their best, live an active lifestyle, and sleep well at night. You don’t need to settle for anything less!

The field of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology is advancing more and more every day. Our providers here at Granger Medical Clinic are pleased to offer our patients, of all ages, the most up-to-date, board-certified specialty care. Our highly trained and caring staff are ready to assist you with allergies, asthma, hay fever, sinusitis, and food and insect allergies. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you!

EDUCATION

Allergy Evaluation

All allergy evaluations are performed by a licensed provider, educated in an extensive allergy-specific training program. Our providers are also board certified by the American Board of Asthma, Allergy, & Immunology. We work continuously to keep up-to-date with all the latest available treatment options for allergy problems. We provide immunotherapy which can decrease your reaction to allergies without the use of prescription medications. However, when appropriate, we offer a range of prescription medications carefully chosen to control your allergy symptoms. We also offer testing such as skin testing and blood tests to pinpoint specific allergens and will guide you in selecting which test is right for you.

Allergy Injections

Our allergy injections are computerized and go through vigorous safety checks. We provide allergy extracts specifically formulated for each patient based on their history and testing. Our allergy extracts are made in a sterile environment in a laminar flow hood.

For those who have experienced hives, facial or throat swelling, difficulty breathing, or fainting after a bee, hornet, or wasp sting, we offer venom allergy shots. Our venom allergy shots have been 97% effective in eliminating this danger.

Food Allergies

We provide a full evaluation and education program for children with food allergies.
